Sutton Sammies pull off win over Bartlett Indians

MILFORD - The Sutton Sammies pulled off a come-from-behind win over the Bartlett Indians in their bid for a Central Mass. Division 4 district championship.

The Indians came on strong scoring in the first inning at Fino Field Tuesday night. They were in the lead until the bottom of the seventh when the Sammies scored to tie it up at 2-2 bringing the game into overtime.

Justin Caro went the distance on the mound for the Indians. Caro also brought runs in on two sacrifice flies scoring Anthony Grzembski and then Luis Conception.

Matt Faucher scored the tying run after stealing second and third, bringing it home on a wild pitch by Caro. The winning run was scored by Nick Spain.

The Sammies go on to play the Oxford Pirates on Saturday at Tivnan field in Worcester for the district championship.
